The out of hours service is for patients who need to see a Doctor urgently and cannot wait until the surgery is next open.
The number to telephone during the out of hours period is 111 (NHS 111)
If you phone the usual surgery number a recorded message will give you this emergency number.
Your telephone call will be answered by a trained professional who will assess your individua needs and decide on the appropriate action.

Seeing a dentist for routine or urgent dental problem
What to do if you are feeling ill
Health concerns for you and your family

In the event of an Accident or emergency telephone the emergency services on 999. The the Operator which emergency service you want and wait for the Operator to connect you. Tell the emergency service where the trouble is, what the trouble is and where you are and the number of the phone you are using. Never make a false call. You could risk the lives of others who really need help and it is against the law. You can also be traced immediately to the phone where the call came from.
Pharmacy
If you need a late night pharmacy, all pharmacies in the area display a rota detailing who is open (normally in their front windows) or contact NHS 111.
