Fitness to Work (Fit Notes)

You only need a Doctor's Fit Note if you are unable to work and are ill longer than seven calendar days. Your employer should provide you with an SC2 self-certificate from for shorter periods of illness.

Patients can print the form off the HMRC website: www.gov.uk/government/publications/statutory-sick-pay-employees-statement-of-sickness-sc2
